Like any action-roguelike hybrid (see: The Binding of Isaac and Spelunky), Nuclear Throne PSVITA VPK levels, enemy spawns, and item pick-ups are all procedurally generated. Nuclear Throne.Art of that is owed to its excellent balance of randomness and familiarity. With a cast of colorful characters to choose from and a simple leveling system that grants fun new skills as you progress, there’s no shortage of unique approaches to play… which is good, because coupled with Nuclear Throne’s unforgiving level of difficulty, you’ll probably be playing a lot. Boasting a mean arsenal of weapons, from standard revolvers to plasma cannons, it packs a big enough punch to draw in fans of fast-paced run-and-guns, but also demands a patience and strategy that rewards slow and methodical players too. Music, and support for analogue stick controls which make it a joy to play.An explosive, gun-slinging romp through a post-apocalyptic wasteland that marries the frantic energy of bullet hells with the tactical risk assessment of a roguelike.Choose between 5 different races which all have all have different mutations you can choose when levelling up.When you go up a level, you can pick a mutation to make your character better (similar to Borderlands 2).A levelling system in which you gain EXP by collecting radiation from fallen enemies.A couple of different weapons including a shotgun, grenade launcher, pistol, crossbow and melee weapon.Wasteland Kings sounds like a pretty odd game but it's actually a lot of fun.
This game is a top-down shooter in which you fight enemies in a nuclear wasteland in order to become its ruler. Wasteland Kings is the precursor to Nuclear Throne. This is a port of Wasteland Kings to the PS Vita.
